Worship Services

 

Assembling together was one of the most important aspects of the church in the New Testament. They were a community of believers together (Acts 2.42). Their assemblies gave them the stimulation they needed to live for Christ on a daily basis (Hebrews 10.24-25). Worshiping together is a necessary part of being a Christian.

 

Our worship services might be a little different from what you might be used to. But we firmly believe the idea of worshiping together is to glorify God and not simply appeal to our own senses. Therefore we look to His word to see how He was worshiped by the first generations of Christians. In the Bible, Christians...

 

• Sang together to teach and admonish one another through song. (Colossians 3.16)

• Prayed with one another. (Colossians 4.2)

• Publicly read to teach and exhort. (1 Timothy 4.13)

• Remembered and proclaimed Christ's death and resurrection. (1 Corinthians 11.23-26)

• Had a system of collection in place to handle financial needs. (1 Corinthians 16.1-4)

 

Bible Classes

 

We believe it is important for everyone to be involved in studying the Bible.  Please join our class on Sunday mornings at 9:00 and the 1st and 3rd Wednesday evenings of each month at 7:00.
